Dr. Conrad Stranz is a oesophagogastric surgeon offers his services under Surgical Specialists, Adelaide, South Australia. Conrad is a specialist Oesophago-gastric and General surgeon who graduated from medical school at the University of Adelaide. He completed advanced surgical training in general surgery in South Australia, with a year at Frimley Park Hospital in the UK, being awarded FRACS in 2017.
In 2017 Conrad worked as a consultant surgeon in private practice and rurally around Australia before gaining further experience in acute surgery in the UK for 6 months, mainly based at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. In 2018 and 2019 Conrad completed ANZGOSA Post Fellowship Training in Upper GI Surgery at Christchurch Hospital, New Zealand and Fiona Stanley Hospital, Western Australia.
He is a consultant Upper GI Surgeon at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and has an interest in minimally invasive resections for oesophageal and gastric cancer as well as surgery for gastro-oesophageal reflux and motility disorders of the oesophagus.
Conrad also performs gastroscopy, colonoscopy and most general surgical procedures.
