Dr. Izhar ul Haque is hepatobiliary surgeon offers his services under Surgical Specialists, Adelaide, South Australia. After 5 years of General Surgery Training in NSW, he did 5 years of fellowship training in Upper GIT, Oesophago-gastric and Hepatobiliary Surgery. He did Upper GIT and Hepatobiliary fellowships at Bankstown, Canberra and Liverpool Hospitals in 2017-2019. He then did ANZHPBA fellowship at Royal Adelaide Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre in 2020-2021.

He is a Hepatobiliary, Upper Gastrointestinal and General Surgery Consultant and works in both Public and Private Hospitals. He has GESA accreditation for endoscopic procedures and deals with patients needing colonoscopy for national bowel screening program.

Dr Haque specialises in managing diseases of the pancreas, liver, bile duct, gallbladder, and stomach, such as:

• Benign and malignant pancreas lesions
• Pancreatitis, acute and chronic
• Biliary colic, cholecystitis and related conditions including bile duct stones and stricture
